The Pietre Ricce bed and breakfast, a comfortable detached house recently reconstructed in local stone, is located in the unique environment of the famous “curly stones” of Roccamontepiano.  This area of St. Rocco can be found within the foothills of the Majella National Park, which is just one step from the ski resorts of Passo Lanciano and Maielletta.  Furthermore, it is only a short distance from the Adriatic sea (Trabocchi Coast and Park of the Teatina Coast - beaches of Pescara, Francavilla, Ortona, San Vito Chietino, etc ..). The B&B is not far either from the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park.

Rural excursions of varying difficulty and length, start from the B&B. You can go on walking, with snowshoes or on mountain bike, suitable for any age or ability.
